Last-Mile Delivery
The final stage of transportation moving parcels from regional distribution terminals to client doors or local pickup points.
Term Definition
Last-mile logistics completes the cross-border delivery process once line-haul trucks arrive at the regional receiving hub. Consignments are handed off to domestic couriers, local express networks, or dispatched directly to commercial receiving docks. Charges for this domestic leg are calculated under the selected local courier's standard tariffs.
Usage Example
«Upon truck unloading at the destination hub, the cartons were transferred to a regional carrier for final drop-off.»
What we do
We hand over arriving shipments to regional delivery services (such as CDEK, Delovye Linii, etc.) for local pickup.
